REGA TURNTABLE MODELS
There are different Rega turntable models to suit different budgets and needs.
YOUR FIRST CHOICE: If you want to enjoy vinyl again or start in this world and want a good performance for a lifetime, the Planar 1, Planar 1 PLUS, or Planar 2 turntables are your option. The Rega Planar 2 turntable is your choice if you want to take the next step. With new adjustments, the handmade RB220 tonearm from Rega, a low-noise motor, a 10mm glass platter, and a factory-fitted carbon cartridge: designed to improve performance. The Rega Planar 10 was inspired by the ultimate Rega turntable, the Naiad. Built around our ultra-light skeletal plinth, constructed from Tancast 8 core and covered in a high-pressure laminate (HPL) skin. The Planar 10 is the first production turntable to use ceramic bracing which provides the ultimate rigid surface for mounting the precision reference RB3000 tonearm and custom central bearing assembly.The Rega Planar 10 is designed to deliver the ultimate in Rega performance by extracting more information from the vinyl groove than ever before.
REGA NAIA TURNTABLE
The Rega Naia turntable is the result of years of painstaking development which was used to create the now famous ‘Naiad’ test bed turntable. The Naia takes the best of this development and technology and transfers it into a production ready version without compromise. The Rega Naia turntable, launched in 2023 to celebrate Rega's 50th anniversary, is packed with ground-breaking features, materials and technology developed by Rega over many years to reach new levels of vinyl replay.
The Naia takes our pioneering low mass high rigidity plinth technology to the next level by using a Graphene impregnated carbon fibre skeletal plinth with Tancast 8 foam core. This ultra-rigid structure is then strengthened further using two ceramic aluminium oxide braces, the same material used to create the redesigned, resonance controlled ceramic platter with improved flywheel effect and complex profile.
